My DVD player was dead today. Right before I go buy another one, I thought about I can use wii to play DVD. You know, as long as you have homebrew channel installed, you can add many apps on it (it's very similar to Andriod OS running on your phone or tablet). I installed an app called mplayer, and I made my wii become both DVD and RMVD files player. Finally I feel my wii can do something useful, not just a gaming platform.
